Cultivating Connection with Nature
Through Sustainability & Art Education
About Clare

Having grown up in the Pennsylvania Wilds, Clare is a lifelong student of nature and caretaker of our planet and its people. Her love for art comes from her father, a professional potter and sculptor, who would often take Clare on whimsical adventures into the local forest.
Clare's journey as a sustainability educator began in 2017 as a steward of Quiet Creek Herb Farm and School of Country Living. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Geoscience from Slippery Rock University and pursued a Master's in Sustainability and Food Systems from Chatham University. Clare later served as the Education Lead for Public Lands outdoor store and continues to host monthly crafting events with the organization.
Clare believes that embracing play is essential for individuals to reconnect with themselves, each other, and their roots in nature. She recognizes the profound impact of play and connection with nature on our holistic health. Through her work in sustainability and art education, Clare looks to create inclusive spaces where play and unity with our natural world are not only encouraged but celebrated. Clare prioritizes creating opportunities for underserved populations to access the healing, joy, and connection that nature and creative expression can provide. She believes that everyone deserves spaces where they feel seen, valued, and connected—especially those who have historically been excluded from such experiences.
